  very true, every once in a while i see one fly into something and later they are acting sickly , i know they are hurt but had i not seen them crash i would not have known what was wrong with them.
I have chciken hens and muscovey ducks that hatch out babies in the loft of my barn all the time and they coax the babies down and my loft is 12 foot from the ground.

Patch is out.. i woke up at 3am and he still hadnot made any progrees as he had pipped right in the center of the patch and i just felt he would not get out so i helped.. he had already absorbed the yoke so i did the right thing
