It looks like a mark placed by the hatchery to distinguish sex.
Its very helpful to the chicks to have a ramp to get into the coop.
I need a couple birds that lay 3 eggs a day. Talk about an increase for customers
Does anyone see a particular breed that stands out when you look at this boy?
Any ideas what this big boy is? I figure he's a mix but a mix of what?   http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v727/majakdragon/Rabbits/DSCF0112.jpg   http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v727/majakdragon/Rabbits/DSCF0110.jpg
Its feet/legs are a dark gray color. Its a good thing I went out there cause the little guy squeaked out somehow. He was in the grass beside the run. I will have to get up very early and try to figure out where he got out at.

Its a light gray color with lighter spots, thats what I meant about the coloring. I suppose it could be called blue but I've never had anything this color before. Is it a roo?
Its got feathered feet and Barred Rock coloring, although a lot lighter. I will try to get a better picture tomorrow. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v727/majakdragon/Rabbits/DSCF0104.jpg
Thanks for the ID. From what I read online about the Hamburgs they don't set very well, if at all. I guess I will have to find a broody hen to hatch them out. My incubator hatch rate is very, very low in the warmer months.
