Keep an eye on her.  I've chickens with shorter beaks do fine for a while, then just suddenly do very poorly.  Maybe more of the beak broke off and then they had lots of trouble eating. 

I didn't know you were in Texas.  You PM'ed me about shipping him and I was on the fence.  If HappyCat doesn't end up taking him, you're next on the list.

My Chip goes about 4-5 weeks.  She starts laying pretty quickly after hatching and then she's done.  

You need to change the duramycin every day.  It's only good for 24 hours at a time.
