Turn the pile and add more browns/carbon.Yes lime will stop the smell, however I think it will burn off too much volatile nitrogen.  Best way to retain the nitrogen is add more browns..ON

IMO everything has a bias, even government or university studies or statements.  I feel it is a fact that if it was written by a human it has inherent bias.   (Granted some sources are more wacky than others...) ...
