On the brinsea manual turn type, when you turn the eggs do you open the entire thing, or do you turn them without losing your heat and humidity? 
Mine were in a mixed flock and they roosted fine with the other birds.  they were so much smaller than some of my other birds though just because MM stock is really not up to par size wise.  They are a smaller sized bird...
Pretty birds.  Marginal layers of medium white eggs.  Flightly.  But sweet and kept their distance.  They were from MM so weren 't the best quality.
Taste comparisons of the meat of the different birds will be useful.  Post your findings, many of it will find it interesting. And were the RIR birds a heritage strain?????
