I'm looking for a rooster to put over my hens to make sex-links. I need one with good manners. Breeds I'm looking for include blue, black, or buff Orpingtons, Gold laced Wyandotte, Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red, Blue Andalusian, or Barnevelder. I'm willing to go as far as western Idaho or northern Utah for one. Thank you! Thanks for the reply Nikkipar!   Thank you Cyn! I am so glad to be getting back into birds!
Debiraymond! How have you been???
It's been a long time since I was a regular on this board and wow have things changed!  I see many new faces and miss most of my old friends who I do not see here now.  I am happy this board is so successful and I still regularly refer people to research here.   I am in the process of ordering d'uccle eggs and coturnix eggs and getting back into birds. I currently have Arctic Snow Pheasants, a couple of Chukars, and homing pigeons along with a couple of goats, two...
Do you still have eggs available?
No worries!   I am planning on additional chukars and pheasants as well as adding coturnix and bobwhites by the end of May.  Still curious to know from any who have experience with game birds how they all compare to each other as far as hatching and raising.
