very true. i dont know whats hiding behind the white feathers of these riw.  its just a shoot in the dark.  i have talked to a couple different hatcheries and this is how they are making their sexlink hybrids.  many dont...

ive read the production reds are a cross of rir and nw hamp. reds.   and i mistakenly said my hens were red.  they are solid white.  they  are rhode island whites.  so with this knowledge does your answer...
