Hi all..well we finished our 2012 show season ..Cody did real well with JR Champion Featherleg with Buttons his white hen,,,he also got RB with his black hen...there were 20 silkies there in JR...18 were his but we met and hopefully...
So sorry about the loss of your pet splashes...we lost a little buff roo today he wasnt well and just passed away..so sad....i dont turn my silkies out just to scared as we have all kinds of raptors around including bald eagles...so...
That is a cool idea with the clear plastic...ask me how many times Codys silkies have had call ducks behind them and one thing people do with ducks is spray them with water and though good for a duck there is nothing good about having...
Congratulations Colter and Hawkeye Silkies!!!!!..I havent been here for a bit so was reading thru the posts...as to maturity of show birds I never have a cockerel who can show much before 7 or 8 months they just take a while to mature...
