Yay!!!... they're hatching!!

one of my buff orp/ barred rock crossesas of right now, 4 of 6 are out, and the last 2 have pipped. I'll have more(and better) pics later.

thanks for that. what about the other traits? weight, eggs, growth rate and what not... any Idea which way they will lean?

Just beginning to dabble in poultry. I have 3 buff orp hens(each laid an egg a day all winter and the lightest is 7 lbs, so I'm liking this breed so far) and a barred rock rooster, and our first clutch from this cross should hatch this...
