My ladies gave me 80 eggs last week! Most eggs in a week record.
In other news, I sold 6 dozen, also a new record!
I get $4 for the large eggs the new girls lay and $5 a dozen for the mega jumbos my 2 and 3 year olds lay.
Today I discovered that our local food pantry is allowed to accept donations of back yard farm eggs, so our girls are going to help battle hunger!

My aussies are prolific layers, so I am not worried about that. I just wondered what sort of chicks I might get. Also wondering what color eggs they would lay... brown, white or tint...?
