So Sorry about your flock.     We lost all but one of our flock this winter due to an ermine attack.  Doris is the only one left.  She seems to have adjusted well.  She has been the only chicken for one...

Anybody have a guess as to what my Avitar bird is?  A friend bought the mother (white bird) and father (beautiful roo looks like black breasted game bird to me) and gave me three of the pullets.  Two died in a horrible ermine...

I am very sorry for your loss.   Hope you find a way to feel safe enough to have chickens again.  We still feel unsafe.
