My hens are getting plucked by my rooster! Not just by their necks, but by the tail, and the sides. They're feathers look like a ruffled birds nest than just plain strait.

Acually, I used to have a chicken who sometimes would lay like that. Even though she barley did it. I asked my mom why the egg was so little, and she said it was a little egg chickens sometimes lay and there will problably be no yolk...
My silkie died too. Her name is bell and I still have her as my avatar,(the picture on the left.) She was blind in one eye, she would alwase let me hold her. And she was a wonderful mother once.
