This question is related to all breeds of chickens but I follow this thread and everyone is so knowledgable so I thought I would ask here first.... Does anyone with Columbian colored chickens have more problems with mites in that color...
What is the typical size of egg from Lg. Cochins? I recently acquired two hens and they both lay smaller round eggs..... I have only ever owned the bantam Cochins but these eggs are not much bigger than theirs?

Wow those are so pretty!! Seeing all the gorgeous colors makes me wish I had a job just to support buying one of every color! They are by far the sweetest chickens I own and if only they loved to be hugged more
