I have told my DH that I'm not the only person that takes their chicken for rides.  I have taken Z to Capt.D's, Church's Chicken and the drive thru at Walgreens, they love her there. I just haven't taken any pictures to share....

I am so happy that penny has found a new friend in clara.  I think its Gloria incarnate.  Love her already.

I have a 2.5 y/o Barred Rock hen that's our house chicken. She's not been her happy-go-lucky self recently. She is going through a molt so she's not laying, that's not the problem. She gets a good quality feed, crumbles, not pellets...

I am so sorry to hear about little Marie.  She really loved you, sharing her last moments content on your lap and giving you all her love. will keep the both of you in our thoughts. Ann
