Nine. I now have nine broodies. I think I need some sort of group intervention.

I just pinned the "Sexing Barnevelders 101" page, and then went out to check my freshly hatched babies... there's a splash in there! SO excited!

There are actually seven blacks from Dak - Kristin and I missed one when I picked up chicks yesterday. Yes, I'm very happy with the hatch rate, and her babies are adorable.

Brand new fuzzy buns... six Black Ameraucanas, two Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas and four Silver Campines.   

My latest hatch...     Six Black Ameraucanas from Dak, two W/BW Ameraucanas from my own stock and four Silver Campines. Everybody is happy and healthy!
