I finally saw my little Jessica crowed this morning!  I only have one cockerel and one day I heard him crowed very differently right after the normal crow.  I thought that he may be changing his tune because he's growing...

Squirrels WILL EAT SMALL chicks and they prefer chicks and eggs to nuts!  I've lost a few chicks to squirrel even after setting up a squirrel feeder. They won't bother big chickens though.
