How old are the birds? If she is not at point of lay or laying age then the comb wouldn't be red yet so would be a cockerel.

You could be right. Those honking legs and lack of feather growth sure look like a cockerel but you wont be sure for another week or two that's when the comb if cockerel will turn red and he'll start to grow out wattles.
