I actually loved my hovabators(I had 3).  HATED my LG though--couldn't hatch anything in it to save my life in that thing!  I got rid of it.  I now have a sportsman that I It holds over 200 eggs and does straddled hatches...

Just rinse their bottom in warm water and carefully remove the poop.  Then apply either medicated A&D ointment or vaseline.  This keeps the area from sticking.  Works like a charm!
