I live out west. We have Intermountain farmers associated  stores. I have been using their IFA chicken feed but am noticing a reduction in the amount of eggs laid. Has anyone used this product? How does it compare against other...
I  have white leghorns, rhode island reds and barred rocks. All of the girls are 3- 4 yrs old. Egg laying is not as high as when they were younger. Any comments on length of egg laying life is appreciated.
I use straw in the covered coop, but only dirt in the run  
I have 7 hens whch are housed in a coop 10ft long, 4 ft wide and 5ft tall. The coop opens to a run that is 20ft long and 15 ft wide. The run use to be way smaller, but I realized how much happier the girls seemed to be when I let them...
my white leghorns do that on occasion....not sure why
My Rhode Island RED was sick for 2-3 days. She seems fine now, yet doesn't appear to be laying. After the yellow discharge, not eating and low energy,,, no eggs.Thoughts?
Good news, upon further inspection, the yellow stuff was a broken egg. But still, she is very lethargic. Something is not right with her.
