We only get a few nights that are really cold. Like they said above, it might get an ice crust of sorts, but the water won't freeze solid.  We don't worry about heating water.

Aside from wing feathers, nothing has filled in on that side.  Some of the little down feathers have fluffed a little on the chest, but that's it.  I'm curious as to what she is and what she'll look like as an adult, but time...
