I feed purina all flock/flock raiser 20% ( the green bag)  and broadcast oyster shells

I would go with high protein feed like meat bird feed 22% mixed with a bit of warm water. Boiled eggs and yogurt.  Also, a little flax seed in the yogurt might help also.

I have a mix flock, my black silkie seems to hold her own.  She goes in on her own and roosts.  She is about a year old now.  Maybe it just takes time.  If they are juveniles, it might just take longer.  I think...

I've lost over a dozen this spring chick season.  I know what you are going through.  Don't despair.  Keep trying, put hardware cloth in instead.  See if that helps.

I entered.  I  could use more feed and another coop.  I wonder what type of chickens you get if you win?  Are they just BOs?  And are they all the same breed?
