A couple days ago three of my four ducks were killed but no chickens. So the only duck I have left is a very, very lonely Pekin. I had one Rouen pair killed and the Pekin's mate was also killed. They were all around 4 months old. Anyone...

Good. Then someone can answer both of our questions I'm feeling a bit...stupid. I'm so used to knowing everything about chickens...but ducks are a WHOLE different story. And I know nothing...lol

Oh, and do female ducks need a male to lay eggs? Or are they like chickens and they still lay regardless?

Well glad I stumbled upon this thread because I am going to get my new spring flock from Orschlean's today and I REALLY want to get a few ducks. So...my question is...can you treat ducks basically like chickens? Can you feed them chicken...

Thanks everyone I was just wondering because I got my first double-yolk today and it just got me thinking. So, if you hatch pullet eggs, the chickens will just never be full size?

Ummmm...anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has ever hatched wierd eggs successfully...like a double-yolker, or a pullet egg, etc.
