He really is huge, isn't he, lol. He is sweet though. The chickens were moved to the basement during this heatwave. Terribly hot here and they were afraid the heat would kill them all.
Install roll-away nest boxes so they never get the chance to eat one. This will also keep your egg eater from teaching other chickens to eat eggs. Or you can eat the chicken. Egg-fattened hens, they are tasty. :-)

She also trained my rooster to stop attacking me. He was headed for the pot until Anna had a go at him. He was set straight in one tumble, lol. I'll probably still eat him though.
Well, they are all contained for now. My pasture isn't fenced all the way so I cant turn them loose. GPs will wander if they are set loose. Anna is under two years old and is half golden retriever, so she would take off when the bug...
