mine came from Mt. Healthy by way of Tractor supply.  They are 5 weeks old now and honestly are big enough to butcher but I will hold off for a few more weeks.  If yours are not putting on weight, are you sure they are...
I only have 20 birds to do but I am going to build a chicken plucker.  I ordered the rubber fingers from Ebay and have everything else I need to make one with so it's going to cost me less than $80...

I may try mine in an electronet.  I can set it up in the pasture so my dogs can keep them safe from hawks and other threats. 
I live in south carolina.  This has been as especially bad year for fire ants because of all of the rain.  Mounds are everywhere.  I moved my Cornish Rock crosses to a tractor yesterday but now I am terrified the ants...
cool.  thanks for the help.  I'll advertise them as Leghorns then.  They really are pretty chicks, but I like brown eggs better.  Hopefully they will sell easily.

I have 30 white leghorn pullets that need a new home.  They were mislabeled at Tractor Supply as Cornish Rocks.  So instead of meaties, I got egg layers that I don't need.  They are outside with no heat and doing...

here is a better picture....larger anyway.  ear lobe looks white to me?  There is not a single colored feather on any of them.  And yep....we wanted meat chickens which would actually be ready to butcher now. ...
