Oh my gosh i am in Northern Ca and this very thing is happening to my girls.  I have lost five so far......It's horrible.  I need to read the entire thread and see what everyone has said....

I lost some of my chickens when racoons tore through chickenwire on my coop!! It can and does happen.  Wish i had listened when i had read about it on here!!  I wouldn't have lost 9 babies,  my favorite rooster and three...

I'm having a similar issue.....It's sad to lose my three year old girls just out of the blue......there has been no warning.....We too are having cool weather for our part of the country......I hope you can figure out what is happening...

Hello all......I haven't been here in ages but am hoping i can get some thoughts on this.....So in the last two months i have lost a turkey and three chickens.   The turkey was young......My girls are about 3 years...

#1 .....It looks like a  more  modern style......#2 seems dated to me.  Maybe from the 80s........I do agree though with the poster that said what ever happened to the long flowing prom dresses......they are no more.
