Don't feel too bad about it. I guarantee you that most people on here (especially the adults) have done things MUCH more idiotic and embarrassing than have their sister trick a bunch of strangers into thinking they are bad at raising...
I don't think ducks can catch Coryza. I actually know VERY little about it, so you might want to keep looking for a second opinion, but here are a couple of links I found that make me think it is only something you should worry about...

Could it be a wood duck? I don't know if they lay green eggs, but the duckling at the top of this webpage looks similar to yours:http://www.hiltonpond.org/NestboxWoodDuckMain.html
I think they have the same color genes as any other mallard-type duck, so if you just do a general search for duck color genetic information you should be able to apply it to your Hookbills.
I would check the bag of feed like xke4 suggested, just in case. Coccidiostat is the medication that can kill ducks, but I don't think any feed companies use it anymore.
You'll be fine. The medicine they use in chick starter now is safe for ducks. It's an old kind of medicine that's bad for them.
