my 6 mallard ducks i bought off line will be here april 4th...3pullets,3males.....excited...

I have a couple stories so im gonna post but i think this one is the funniest...   when i get home from work its a always that as soon as the animals see my car they start running for the barn..since i stop and give them some...

I know this sounds inhumane..but they r rats..they r a nusiance to my animals and they carry all sorts of diseases..eww....i put rat traps in my barn and kill them...but just the other day i got a kitten...when it gets older and able...

the egg hatched under her...she left the baby lay and moved the last egg left to another spot....i brought the baby up to the house...its breathing..its just laying here on a towel...dont know what to do for it..ive been massaging it...

i was told yesterday that a chicken will stop laying regurally because of the heat..so maybe the same happens with ducks...just a thought...

THANKS MS LYDIA...I will keep u all updated...they r right in my backyard under the kitchen window....the nest is hidden by my rose vine because i never made a trellis so its all over the place...when i got them as babies i had them up...

i have 2 pekin ducks..shitz n gigglez...they r unseperateable...like an old married couple...lol...so a few days ago shitz is outside our bedroom window quaking away walking around the house...so we go investigate and here gigglez has...

Mine are being raised by a hen and when  they were just a week old she was showing them how to sit in the tree right by there coop....so now at 6 weeks,when i was coming up the driveway i stopped  and took a pic of 4 of them...

since all 5 of the 6 chickens we had got killed over the last two summers and the only one left(scruffy-banty hen) is lonely and sitting on eggs like she is broody we decided to get her some babies from tractor supply...so we got 6...
