Well, Crispy was broody when you picked her up so it might be a good match.  Crispy is also really good in a small area so I think she would be OK in a brooder pen, even indoors. It might help the chick to have a surrogate mother...

I don't follow the game all that closely. I don't know much about the rares or alts, I just try different crosses to see what happens.
