We just set aside a days eggs (usually a dozen or more) and allow them to rest a few days in an egg basket but not in the fridge. Havent had any issues that way, but boiling them fresh is a PITA!!!

Ours are a wee bit crazy. Loads of fun, lots of work keeping them fenced haha  
It can get pretty dusty when the turkeys get to dusting       Then its nice sun bath. Cant recall not seeing this oh...maybe 50 times a day haha
