Does anyone here feed their quail a more natural feed? I just bought a dozen quail, but am wondering if anyone has had success feeding their quail something other than commercial game bird crumbles. I feed all of my meat rabbits, fiber...
How much 7-9 day fodder are you all feeding per adult laying hen? I'm just looking for an estimate so I know what to aim for.

No, I meant California state. But I'm used to it... I also raise rabbits and when I say "California" people assume the breed and the the state. I think I'll stick to the coturnix in a white color so there is no mistaking them.
