you need to place them after dark when she has hunkered in for the night, just place the little ones right next to her without disturbing her, but check on them at first light and often. How old are the chicks?

I would move her.  The 2nd poster has all the reasons.  I would set up a large dog crate or something, have it all ready, then at night transfer her eggs and her to hopefully keep her broody, then leave her alone.Congrats,...

I would just leave her alone to hatch, much like lockdown in a incubator as the chicks are trying to get out of the eggs and the disruption of mom walking on the eggs doesnt help them and could squash them.

you can wick up more water with a paper towel apparently.  It is the surface of the water that makes the humidity, not how deep it is, is what I understand.  I started a batch of eggs last friday but I have added babyfood...
