blue fawn is blue and chocolate together, it  really is its own colour, you wont get two different colours on the bird.. there is no lacing gene in muscovy. i cant help you with the rippling gene, we dont have it in australia so...

ducks can eat the same food as chickens, however as ducklings they need more niacin in their feed than chicks.   they'll go broody 2 to 3 times a year, usually starting when the weather warms up. i'll get winter hatches here...

cool, interesting looking duck, i agree it does look to have muscovy in it, especially the head, it looks female.

i think its a male. just putting it out there.  i also think its hard to tell at 4 weeks especially without any others to compare it to.    give us another photo in 3 or 4 weeks
