I think it takes at least 5 different breeders, 5 years of breeding, and 50 birds of that color (I heard somewhere it was only 25 but I'm not sure which is true) at a qualifying meet with whatever color has been put in for recognition...

Congrats Tripp. So exciting to hatch out chicks from your own birds that you paired up the way you want. I can't wait until my chicks mature so I can see the results of my stressing over who to pair up! lol
Here is the new chick up front with the 4 day old chick behind him. The new chick is bigger then the older chick. My son wants to call them Turkey and Ham lol.
