One girl lays a cream egg. The other two girls lay a little bit darker eggs. But, they are all lighter than the brown eggs at my local super market.    I hope that helps. 

The plastic dish doesn't have traction. So, we put new coffee filters under each egg.    We also smelled them. They smelled sweet. Good sign?

We are on day 20. This is my first hatch. My temp has stayed stable for the most part.      I honestly just took a knife from the kitchen and gave the cooler a bunch of stabs to lower the temp. It was way high...

Thanks!   We had coffee filters sitting underneath them. An hour ago we second guessed ourselves and took the filters out. I guess it's time to put them back!

I heard that they could be fertile up to three weeks. I just needed reassurance.      We are going to try to hatch some of his eggs. Wish us luck!

Night of Day 20 - still nothing!    I'm starting to worry!

I have three Buff Orp girls.They all have light brown eggs, but the shades are different. We can tell which egg belongs to what chicken!

Mine are currently in a flat cat dish. I only have two eggs - one egg is sitting where cat food goes and the other is sitting where the water goes.    My question: Is this surface too smooth? Will it make the eggs roll...
