This hen is in her second full year, she has one pullet growing out that we kept from her 2015 season. This hen we purchased as an "egg" from the breeder Campbell, we have found her birds to mesh well with several of our roos. This hen was lost to egg binding Early Jan 2016..but we have her pullet from 2015..and she is even better then her mama.

This is one of my favorite birds, tiny, double breasted, when she stands its amazing...she is one of my littlest reproducing hens. She is straight McDonald line, no cross in of any new line blood. This is why she is very small, the McDonald line brings in the very small gene that we were able to isolate in this line, now on its many many generation development.

Meet Rosco, he heads the first round of 2016 as of today he has 4 chicks on the ground and 10 growing in the machine. He is amazingly small, and can pose like the best of them, we are using him for his "No Back" and "Micro" class traits. He is over 12 hens. This is not our roo, he was bought as an egg from the "Campbell" line, that we have been amazingly impressed with, and as you can see we are heading him over the coop, giving us several nice genetic pairings. Hatched and Raised by McDonald, bred by Campbell.
