This album is for our 2016 hatch incubation, this year we are doing 42 eggs in our bator. 3 doz Black/Blue/Splash Amercauna and 1 doz of mixed eggs. The mixed eggs consist of Welsummer, Oliver Egger, Wheaten Amereaucana, Easter Egger and Brabanter, which should produce EE and OE.
Eggs set 03/12/16, the eggs were all weighed to monitor the humidity during hatch. 04/01/16 - first pip. First chick to hatch was an Easter Egger from fellow BYC member @ Percheron Chick. Two other pips are seen on the Olive Egger.
Been a difficult hatch, had a blizzard during the middle of it, had an incubator spike early and lost a lot of eggs that way. Only 13 eggs made it into lockdown and so far only three have hatched. No other eggs hatched and all updates will be in the The Three Amigos photo album.
