Good morning Bubba!!!
Bubba was dumped on our local reservoir with a pinioned wing and no way to flee from predators, especially when the water would freeze over. His mate had died at some point and he was creating a bit of a ruckus because he missed her. So, we collaborated with people who lived on the water to capture him and give him a predator proof pen and endless amount of food in his belly. He proved what a little love can do, hes truly a sweetheart. My boyfriend Alex built him a very comfortable house, also large enough to fit in a female if we can find a single one!

Alex built a door inside of a door, the whole front folds down to clean it out easily.
Since Bubba is a Toulouse goose my boyfriend Alex built his house much taller then our duck house so he could comfortably stand up inside while he honks at the neighbors.
We have a pallet fence in the pen so he can spend time with the ducks but it separates him from biting my muscovy drake
