Candle day 14. Not good.

Since the new year I have saved up and purchased 2 Little Giant Deluxe model #11300 incubators for hatching. And 1 Little Giant still air incubator for the new hatchlings (if I ever have anymore). I do still want to build a cooler-bator when my brother is able to help me.

Hoping I did not make a mistake by getting the Little Giant incubators. I see on site where some do not like them. Locally, it is all that is offered.

This is the only one that advanced. Not sure what is happening. Haven't ever candled b4. Day 8 candle. Do not see air pocket. Getting on forums for help.

Set 12 eggs February 2nd in new Little Giant Deluxe model incubator. None of 42 set in new incubator hatched. Trying to keep humidity down on this batch below 40. Has not been easy. Trying rice in sandwich bag today. Candled last night. Does not look good. Must have had beginners luck with old borrowed incubator I used from October 2015 until January 2016. Candle pics up next.

OK. Day 18 of initial set up on new incubator. Turner stopped working for several days b4 I noticed, temp guage had to be adjusted and I had to learn how to better control humidity. The eggs were up to 14 days old. But with all that, I think I am ready to collect good, fresh eggs and start again. Only 2 of 41 eggs set look like they are developing. Kept those two and tossed rest. Cleaned out nest for a new eggs this week. Hope to set and restart new incubator in 5-7 days. Will post journey on here.
