| Description | We are getting ready to add 4 chickens to our little family. We thought that would be a good place to start. We may move up to 6 at some point, if I can talk everyone into it. We are leaning towards Black Copper Marans and Ameraucanas or EEs. 2 of each. If we cannot get Marans, we are also considering Barnvelders, Australopes and Welsummers. Any suggestions are welcome, but according to my research, these would be a good fit for our family. We are hoping for pets with benefits! (eggs and manure, no meat, thanks!) We have a one year old son who loves people and critters and we have no pets. |
