Pros: Great mothers,Great free rangers, and protective

Cons: Roosters are agressive towards each other

I've had them since I could crawl. They where my first birds and will be my last birds! The roosters and hens are very protective of the chicks and they will fight off any predator four-legged or two-legged.You can't beat them for free rangers or broodys. The only thing is you have to seperate the stags at about6 months or you'll end up with one or two less birds!

How do they get along on their own during the winter months?  Mine are roosting in the trees, for now, I just wonder how long into the winter they can get by with that...
Thanks!
where can I acquire some of these beautiful birds?
what u mean by stags

Game roosters are often called stags.
Beautiful birds..Hopefully they can join the flock soon. I love broodys and Protective Roos so they seem to be the perfect addition to the flock. From my perspective I would recommend them to people who love broodys, Protective roos and game birds in general.
