Pros: Super sweet, beautiful, easy to handle

Cons: None so far.

I have had my girl for almost a month now and she is terrific! Possibly the most personable pullet I have ever owned. I can't wait for her to go broody next year and hatch out some babies for me! I think I am sold! Bantam Cochins will forever have a place in my yard!

no gurrantee she will go broody...
My bantam cochin hen is broody year round, there great at hatching out eggs but watch them with the babies my hen steps on hers and doesn't take good care of them. Every hatch I had to take away the baby before she killed it
My Bantam Cochin started to go broody about the same time one of my Ameracaunas did. After a week of sitting, I think she decided it was too cold to brood (this was in November in Colorado).
