Pros: broody, cute, soft, sweet.

Cons: mine is shy

i love my little banty cochin, marsha, and she is a beatiful rust color. but, she doesn't like it when i pick her up, and she runs away when i go to get her. very sweet, but a little shy. i am hoping that it is a temporary thing. she was bought along with other chickens, and i didn't pay for them seperatly, so i don't really know how much she cost.

To find out how much you payed for her take the total amount of money you spent and divide that by the total number of chickens you bought. Example:
Say I spent $35 on 14 baby chicks ($35/14=2.5) so I purchased each chick for $2.50 each.
:) I had a cochin bantam for a while, she was really pretty to look at but not to hold too.
that's a great idea! she is from Tractor Supply chick days, and i think she was about... 4.00. do you know when they start laying?
