Pros: friendly, good layer

Cons: flies the coop a lot

Just noticed there is also a Golden Star Sex Link listed. This is the same breed.  A hybrid, part Rhode Island Red. Mine likes to fly over the fence into the neighbor's yard. Gets along with the other hens, doesn't mind being held. Good early layer of large brown eggs.

I am going to try this breed...as for flying over the fences...I clip one wing and they can't fly that high..good way to control those who like to escsape the pen..

My grandparents raised these, they were known for pecking ankles.
