i decided to purchase happy hen treats Mealworm frenzy for my favorite rooster who is very picky about what he will eat.  When i threw some of these into his dish he went nuts! I will definitely buy these again when i can but the price is a little high to me for a small bag which doesn't last here on my farm.

When the package says FRENZY, they mean it!  Our chickens go wild for the Happy Hen meal worms.  We are only on bag #2 and already the chickens recognize the sound the bag makes and the bag itself.  Last week, while talking to a neighbor over the fence, I was holding a piece of material similar in size and shape as the treat bag.  After a few minutes I had a chicken resting on my arm and another sitting on my shoulder waiting for me to open what they thought was a bag of treats!  Crazy girls.   If you ever need to wrangle the chickens, this is the treat that will bring them scurrying.

I took the advice of my chicken friends and bought a small bag.  After getting over the idea of handling these dried worms, I dished them out in my hand and sprinkled them around, never have I seen chicks gobble up tid bits so fast!  All the chickens love these treats!  I will always have thses on hand from now on. ( Bigger bag next time)

I love these treats! they are gone in a week and 1/2! They are very handy and fun for everyone! Two thumbs up!

My kids and I love our morning ritual of feeding them the meal worms. They go bonkers. I wish they weren't so expensive. Because the cost though I use it as a reward for the chickens and my kids, hahaha! Well worth the money if you ration them out.   

I didn't believe in this. But I was I had to try it. I LOVE IT! All my poultry groups love it. It doesn't stink. I have turkey that haven't had many treats or human contact. They eat this right up and prefer it over LIVE crickets. Is there any way to give this item more stars? haha

My pullets go crazy when they hear my coming nd shaking the bag!

I tossed a few of these treats down for my baby chicks (about 4-5week olds) and they went literally crazy over them. Pecking frenzy, rushing around and enjoying themselves. good to give on occasion and to use for socializing training (to get them used to coming up to you) by shaking the bag before you feed them.

These are great! The girls really do love them. The only problem I have had is if you aren't careful with the bag, the worms get ground up and turn into a powder which makes it difficult to use as a treat.

MY chickens and ducks go nuts for these!!! Even the shy ones will come right up and most will eat them right out of my hand.  Great way to make friends with the birds!
