Invented by G.Q.F. Manufacturing Co. over 35 years ago, the Hova-Bator is still the WORLD'S BEST SMALL INCUBATOR. This TURBOFAN CIRCULATED AIR FLOW HOVA-BATOR uses a fan to hold a more uniform set point even when the room temperature fluctuates and accommodates various size eggs at the same time. We have cut cost in the 2362N by replacing the picture window with two smaller ones. Visibility is still good for monitoring hatches and temperatures. Dimensions 18 x 18 x 9 1/2, 110 Volt AC. 25 Watt Heat Element. All Hova-Bator incubators include a sanitary plastic liner (item No. 1765). Without an automatic turner in place, the incubator will hold 50 duck or chicken eggs or 130 quail eggs.

Pros: hold temp well
Cons: Have to manually monitor temp and humidity, windows are small
The temp is hard to control, takes several days to get it right, windows are small, and I've had a higher chance of shrink wrapping in this incubator. My hatch rates haven't been all that great. Not easy to add water to.
I want a better one. It's not terrible but not great either..
Pros: Easy to setup, accurate, and holds humidity,
Cons: Has holes in the bottom, and when you spill water, when you are filling up the water trays the water seeps down below the tray, and leeks out the holes, and with a warm environment it will cause mold.
This incubator is not trash. But it is not great for the money. I would much rather buy a little giant for the price. On my first hatch one of the chicks bumped the wire the keeps the fan on, and the fan turned off, and temperature dropped to 85 degrees. I had the same problem with all of my hatches except the ones that I did with quail. I also had a problem with mold growing in the incubator below the water trays, and below the incubator because the incubator has holes on the bottom, and water leaked down out of the trays and went below the incubator, witch then mold began to grow underneath of it. I got the model that had the automatic egg turner, and the egg turner made the loud crackling sound.

Pros: Simple to use, long lasting.
Cons: "Bad thermometer"
I have been using this incubator for 3 years and it still works fine and looks great. I get 90% plus hatches. I use an automatic turner and hatch in a separate unit, this keeps my main unit clean. I did replace the thermometer with a digital one. This incubator works as advertised if used correctly.

Garbage.
Needs to have water added every 4-6 hours. Cant hold temps even indoors.
Lost a whole batch because of this little Styrofoam pail.
I did have the 2362N, but its the same machine only more expensive.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be horrible. After 2 hatchings, it couldn't keep the temperature accurate anymore. It was almost too hot or too cold. I lost several eggs twice in a row (first time I thought it was just a fluke, but it wasn't).
So I returned and exchanged for the Genesis model. Now THAT is a great one.
Too bad I can't change my review and give it 1 star instead of 5.

I liked the system on the Chinese version of Ebay, after 60 days you can opt-in and do a follow up review just in case the product was built all shotty, but good enough to last two weeks.
Glad you got something that works now.

I bought a hova bator with egg turner included, but I added a fan. I put 21 eggs in from my little flock, not expecting them to all be fertile. I ended taking six out after candeling, nothing there. The other 15 were fertile and growing, and I have 15 chicks now! I added warm water with a straw and small funnel when needed, and I used 3 thermometers to make sure the temp. was ok. I had no problems at all. Very happy with it! Only $85.00 including the fan I added.

I find these to be HORRIBLE. If the temp changes around them your eggs are fried or frozen. Plus all the parts are all so cheap. Mine broke after 2 uses and killed more chickens than it hatched
