Bought at a feed store in Hobbs,New Mexico random box of chicks. Picked the smallest and sickliest chick of the whole bunch and was asked to get it a buddy. Got lucky,picked a mated pair. Bantam Black Frizzled Cochins. Not very winter hardy the 1st yr. had to bring them inside till the weather warmed up,have to keep shade on them in the summers. As they get older they seem to do well in the winter. Good layers,do not set. Doesnt mind being handled.
