Pros: Great layers, massive eggs, lovely crow, friendly chicken and extremely docile
Cons: Can't think of any
They are an excellent bird, quite large but very friendly, recognise voices and follow you round the garden! I'd recommend to anyone wanting chickens, high egg production and gorgeous tasty eggs!

I would like to know where you got your light sussex flock..... I am extremely disapointed with mine. They are by far the worst layers I have ever seen. The eggs are 1.4 ounces at 10 months old, they are constantly going broody on me and in 5 months of laying I am guessing I got a total of 60 eggs between 2 pullets. They are also the dumbest chickens I have ever seen and that is saying something. I am really bummed because I love the way they look. These birds were supposed to be "Australian" but look to be only about 5-6 lbs at most. If you have suggestions on where I might get light sussex pullets that lay "massive" eggs and a high rate of production I would be grateful.
