While visiting my mother and seeing her flock she has a small hen that is supposed to be a Sussex chicken. This hen is growing spurs, has a V shaped comb and is super flighty. She stays away from all of the other chickens but the rooster tries to mount her and we do not know if she has laid

She is over a year old I don't think it's strange that the rooster mounts her I just figured she was a hen because he was mounting her. She is very small about half the size of her other hens that were bought with her at the local Feedstore. She is the only hen with a V-shaped home and spurs growing she was sold as a sussex bluff colored chicken. I I think she's adorable. I plan on bringing her back to Texas with me to join my flock of seven. Maybe she won't be so picked on there as my chicks are still young.

Thank you! She does look to be a Sicilian buttercup. Now we know who lays the tiny white eggs. Her temperament and coloring are exactly what is described. Thank you!
