thankful that my firt 2 broody's (D'uccles) are so right on the money.
Not letting any other hens in the nest (to trample)
sticking solid (1 - 1 hour break per day/)
The first (both our firsts) hatched every fertile egg I set.
Chalk it up to management (I had to put her back on the right nest about 8 times)
Goo\d food. oystershell, grit and free range.
Just nature. if she is clumsy like this, maybe someone else gets to hatch real chicks, give her day olds
