whitch should i buy

i am going to get 2 started pullets at a farm a round me there are barred rock and RIR and i was wonder what trimmed beaks and do they bother the chicken down the line and which ones should i buy

....they don't grow back and can cause difficulites in eating.

Are you adding them to a very large flock or just getting two as your flock? If the latter, you don't have any need for trimmed beaks. If the former, it's still not exactly necessary.

And it depends on your preference. Read through the breed descriptions on here. I would rather have Barred Rocks because I like how they look, but I think RIR are better layers (more eggs).

If u want them for eggs get more than 2 if u don't have any other chickens we have 6 hens and r looking forward for more for eggs

Oh well than its up to u 2 more is probably enough but that's up to u r u adding the with the other 9 if so make sure that they all have a ejustment in there coop or whatever so they don't fight
